ISTROMETAL DM s.r.o. founded in November 10th, 1994. As a successor of machine workshops ISTROCHEM a.s. and based on many years of experience we focused solely on engineering production. Our main activities consisted in metalworking, locksmith and kettlesmith manufacturing, construction of machines driven by mechanical power, production of different mechanical tools and appliances. We preserved the machinery tradition until today. For more than 15 years we do custom manufacturing for standing and also for new customers from all over Europe. The vast majority of our production is exported to European countries (Netherlands, Belgium, Czech Republic, Austria, Germany etc.). For Slovakia, we realized more contracts for new products, as well as spare parts for machinery in various industries. Our characteristic is flexibility, which was appreciated by all previous customers.

In early 2010, we moved the whole operation of the company from area of Istrochem a.s. to new premises in the Bratislava-Vrakuňa. Newly-built workshops and the administrative part are completely adapted to our production with easy access for customers. The manufacturing section is divided into two parts - metalworking shop, locksmith and kettlesmith shop. In metal manufacturing workshop we realize activities as milling, turning, drilling, grinding etc. Locksmith and kettlesmith workshop is focused at shaping burning, cutting, rolling, pressing, bending, welding, repairs and reconstructions of machinery etc. In these two premises is about 120 different machines and work approximately 45 employees, including technicians and controllers. All our staff have extensive experience, which confirms their long-standing practice in the field.

ISTROMETAL DM s.r.o. was always interested in any serious cooperation with the Slovak or foreign partners. We are ready, to flexibly enlarge our production capacity. Our priority is increasing the efficiency of our production. We regularly invest to upgrading the machinery and facilities. The latest CNC machines enable us to meet the ever increasing requirements on the accuracy of product and productivity. If you are interested, we can operatively shipped our products to the customer with our own cars.

Late 2010 we have successfully certified our quality management system in accordance with ISO 9001 and environmental management system in accordance with ISO 14001. We show our relationship with customers and environmentally and included among the modern European companies.
